So without any further ado, come with me as I explore these 13 platform s that pays content creators in Nigeria.

13 platforms that pays content creators in Nigeria.

The 13 platforms that pay content creators in Nigeria are:

  1. YouTube.
  2. TikTok.
  3. Facebook.
  4. LinkedIn.

1. YouTube.

To me, YouTube is the number one platform that pays content creators in Nigeria because when you compare the revenue you are generating on YouTube with other platforms you will realize that they pay most.

So for the fact that YouTube pays most, not minding the kind of content you are creating is why I always advice content creators to target YouTube monetization more than the rest.

YouTube’s monetization requirement looks simple but I can beat my chest and tell you that it’s the hardest and after reading my point below you will accept this fact with me.

Now YouTube expects you to have 1,000 subscribers and 4,00 watch hours within 365 days, i.e. a one-year duration.

Now why I say that their monetization is hard is because, YouTube allows people who are not even signed-up to their platform to watch videos, and and as a non-member these kinds are not allowed to subscribe to any channel they might find interesting.

And  the reason why people are not signed to YouTube is because YouTube does not have a direct sign-up area or button, rather people are expected to sign-up for a gmail address and after logging in with their phones, they can go to YouTube and create a channel which will allow them own a YouTube account.

That is why you will discover that your post might have 100,000 views and only 50 of those watching may end up subscribing to your channel.

This then akes it hard for people to meet YouTube monetization as they expect, but once you are able to meet up their requirement and join their program you will go on to enjoy the following monetization options:

  1. Advertising revenue.
  2. Channel membership.
  3. Super Chat & Super Stickers
  4. YouTube Premium revenue
  5. Shopping feature
