The outgoing holder of the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking by an Individual, Lata Tandon, which Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci attempted to break with her 100 hours kitchen stint, has pleaded with Nigerians to maintain peace as Guinness World Record is reviewing Hilda’s attempt.

It could be recalled that some Nigerians took to Chef Tandon’s social media page to insolently asked her to give up the record to Hilda.

As a result of that Tandon took to her Instagram account to tell Nigerians that there was no need to make the longest cooking marathon a competition, adding that it was just a record.

She urged Hilda’s fans to be patient for Guinness to officially announce if the current record is broken or not.

She wrote, “A humble request to all my sisters and brothers in Nigeria & India to maintain peace and wait for Guinness to officially announce if the current record is broken or not. Please don’t make it a competition, it’s just a record, my friends.
I’m a peace-loving individual and I wish the same for you.”
