Nigerian chef, Hilda Bassey Effiong, who is popularly known as Hilda Baci has set a new Guinness World record for the longest cooking hours by an individual.

This record was previously held by an Indian chef, Lata Tondon who cooked for 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds.

However, as of the time we filled this report, Hilda has cooked for 88 hours, and 19 minutes and she aims to cook for 96 hours.

She is expected to complete the task at 4 pm on Monday, 12 May 2023.

The chef has been getting massive support, from Nigerians, especially celebrities, and politicians in the country.
